The eye behind the lens
I'm Corvin Hale — a New York photographer shooting portraits, couples and events with a documentary heart and an editor's eye.
It's a time where improvisation reigns, allowing me to surrender to the moment and embrace all the elements that surround me.
I started shooting on film in college, fell for the darkroom, and never really left. Ten years later I run a small New York studio with one rule: nobody performs for my camera. We talk, we walk, we find the light — and the honest frames arrive on their own.
Brands book me for lookbooks and headshots. Couples book me for the days they'll retell forever. Both get the same thing: preparation beforehand, calm on the day, and a gallery that needs no explaining.
